Cruising South Pacific

South Pacific Ports

Cruise to Auckland

Haere mai, welcome to the official website for Auckland, New Zealand's biggest city. Wherever you stay in Auckland, you're never far from breathtaking scenery, beautiful beaches, invigorating walks, idyllic holiday islands, outstanding food and wine, great shopping and exciting nightlife.

Bora Bora

Cruise to Bora Bora

James Michener's Bali Hai comes to life on Bora Bora—a Society Island ringed with a shimmering blue lagoon. Put on your pareo and take in the lush mountain view from Bloody Mary's bar, relax at the beaches at Matira, and ponder the ancient stone altar of M

Cruise to Brisbane

You can see most of Brisbane in a day or two (the interesting bits at least) and the best way to get around the city is on foot. The CBD itself isn't huge and if you're even modestly fit you'd have no trouble seeing pretty much everything there is to see — namely the River, Botanic Gardens, Queen Street Mall, Southbank and Roma Street Parkland. A free shuttle bus does a loop of the CBD every 15 minutes or so, so there's always vehicular backup if your legs get too tired — you can grab the timetable here. Volunteer guides offer free walking tours of the two botanic gardens every day except Sundays, visit the Our Brisbane site for more info. The Brisbane River Cats and Ferries are another great way to see the city. In the early days the river was the main form of transport, so most of the important historical sites can be reached from the water.

Cruise to Christchurch

Located on the east coast of the South Island, Christchurch - just like the rest of New Zealand - is a city of contrasts. It is a place where its residents continue to enjoy a healthy, active lifestyle amidst a natural environment world-renowned for its beauty. A growing cosmopolitan ambience also adds a touch of excitement without overt flashiness.

Christmas Island

Cruise to Christmas Island

The Victoria Cross is the highest military decoration awarded for valour "in the face of the enemy" to members of the armed forces of some Commonwealth countries and previous British Empire territories. It takes precedence over all other orders, decorations, medals and postnominals. It may be awarded to a person of any rank in any service and civilians under military command, and is presented to the recipient by the British monarch during an investiture held at Buckingham Palace. It is the joint highest award for bravery in the United Kingdom with the George Cross, which is the equivalent honour for valour not "in the face of the enemy". The VC was introduced on 29 January 1856 by Queen Victoria to reward acts of valour during the Crimean War. Since then the medal has been awarded 1,356 times to 1,353 individual recipients. Only 14 medals have been awarded since the end of the Second World War. Due to its rarity, the VC is highly prized and the medal can reach over £200,000 at auction. There are a number of public and private collections devoted to it, most notably that of Lord Ashcroft, which contains over one-tenth of the total VCs awarded.

Cruise to Melbourne

There is much to love about Melbourne. Just ask the locals. This sophisticated world city in the south-east corner of mainland Australia inspires a deep passion in those lucky enough to live here. Melburnians love the city's vibrant energy, staggering choice of restaurants, funky boutiques, café-filled laneways, cool bars, unbeatable galleries, luscious parks and village-like inner suburbs, each with its own special character. Melbourne is the capital of Victoria and is a relatively modern city which is less than 200 years old and never sits still. New futuristic designs add to the fascinating mix of architecture and ensure the skyline is constantly changing. Melbourne is very much about lifestyle. It is no huge surprise to residents that their city has been ranked as one of the world’s most liveable cities.

Cruise to Sydney

"Sydney is seen as a modern, globalised city with very good infrastructure and economic potential. It is also recognised as one of the most culturally diverse cities in the world. Altogether, this seems to be a recipe for sustainable success in the foreseeable future.
